A complete remodel, inside and out
210 Rose Dhu, Savannah, GA
Main living area
Starting in the main living area, we vaulted the ceiling and removed the walls for more open feel. This opened up the views of the beautiful surrounding marshland from every angle.
On the main floor, we added a half bath and extended the kitchen nearly the full length of the main room. This included a hidden walk-in pantry with amazing wall storage and cabinets — perfect for a coffee bar. The main door of the pantry looks like cabinets, so you would have no idea the pantry was there. We finished off this space with a beautiful waterfall edge island, chefs appliances, high-end light fixtures and new windows.
When we redesigned the master bedroom and bath, we gutted it all. There were a lot of small closets that didn’t make any sense. The bathroom also was poorly laid out. In its place, we made two walk-in closets and created a very spacious master bath with soaker tub and curbles shower. We completed the look with high-end tile and fixtures in a classic, timeless style. The master bedroom has a large walk-out porch that was in rough shape. We updated the doors and the railings, so that you have an amazing view while laying in bed.
On the ground floor, we added a laundry room and a full bathroom. The full bath is great for dog washing, rinsing off from being in the marsh or after a long day at work.
Other property perks
The rest of the house was updated with new wiring, spray foam insulation, paint, flooring, plumbing, roof, landscaping and more.
The property also houses a carriage hours, which we took from a 1/1 and transformed it into a beautiful 2/1. By moving the kitchen and living room downstairs, we were able to redesign and layout a new space.
Everything was replaced in this area as well. From the roof down, nothing was left untouched
