After 200 days on the market, staging helps home sell
737 E 36th, Savannah GA
I fell in love with the house the moment I walked in. It was a redesign from an investor in the area and the home had been sitting on the market for over 200 days.
The remodel was beautiful but the rooms were a bit small and oddly laid out. It was very hard for potential buyers to picture furniture fitting into the home.
I came in and staged just the areas with which the potential buyers were having issues. The living room, master bedroom and the dining area were all very small/narrow looking. I was able to place a couch with ottoman, TV stand, 2 chairs, a table and other various staging items so a buyer could get a clear picture of what could actually fit in the living room.
For the master, I placed a bed with side tables, lamps and other various staging items to prove a bed would fit nicely with plenty of room to walk around. In the end, it worked. We received an offer close to list price and the client was thrilled.
